Pre-Construction Brokers Tour - The Marc Luxury Condos

I recently donned a hard hat and sensible shoes for the pre-construction Brokers Tour hosted by Ricardo Rodriguez &  Associates for The Marc — a unique, boutique-style condominium building to be completed next year. Located on Isabella street in Bay Village, this stunning French Renaissance building was designed in 1883. Until 2016, it served as the rectory for the adjacent Our Ladies of Victory Church.

Soon to House 9 Luxury Boston Condominiums

The totally gutted interior will soon house nine luxury, floor-through residences. Each unit will offer sun-filled interiors with three exposures. The striking 100-plus-years-old bay windows will be refurbished, adding a commanding presence to the living rooms and master bedrooms of each residence.

Benefit of Purchasing a Pre-Construction Condo

One of the benefits of buying pre-construction is choosing upgrades that add a personal touch to your new home. Generally, you pay all or a portion of any upgrades in advance and your payment is typically non-refundable under any circumstances. If envisioning the finished space is difficult, developers usually provide renderings (like the one below from the MLS listing for The Marc Unit #4) to help you see what you are buying.

Luxurious Interiors with Modern Amenities

The finished design calls for custom kitchens with Gaggenau appliances, huge master bathrooms with radiant flooring, gas fireplaces, and smart-home integration for climate, lighting, and sound systems control. Each condo comes with two parking spaces in the basement garage. All, but the first-floor units, feature direct garage-to-residence elevator access. Below shows the elevator behind the unique glass-enclosed den, which offers both a sense of privacy and open-concept feel.

Designed to Blend Elegantly into Bay Village

The adapted rectory promises to maintain the neighborhood's warmth and intimacy, while offering expansive single-floor living with today's sought after luxury-lifestyle conveniences. Below is a photo I took from inside the The Marc's second floor. I love that the street will maintain its low profile and historic feel. The Marc offers those seeking a luxury urban lifestyle an alternative to the cool towers of glass popular in Boston's Seaport District. See all all Boston townhomes and condominiums for sale.
